Speaking of reported deaths, it occurred to me to wonder what death count is being reported for the regular, non-Covid19, seasonal flu. Getting to the CDC website, I see estimated flu deaths reported for the period Oct. 1, 2019 through April 4, 2020 to be 24,000 - 62,000. I don't know, is it just me, or does this seem like a fairly broad range? And given that flu season is pretty much over, when do they pick a number to report as "died from seasonal flu during the 2019-20 flu season"? What do they do, just pick the mid-point of their estimated range? Just wondering....
