Speaker Nancy Pelosi warned Donald Trump not to reopen the country too early as the president has shown increasing signs of impatience with the coronavirus lockdown. 'I would hope that the scientific community would weigh in and say, 'You can't do this, it is only going to make matters worse if you go out too soon,' she told Politico in an interview. But, as the end date for the administration's '30 Days to Slow the Spread' approaches, the president has pushed for the country to get back to business as the number of infected tops 469,000 and more than 16,000 Americans have died.
