My "guess" is that they figure the apex will be over by May first which will free up lots of beds and then they can just let it run wild to get herd immunity and get it over with fast?
My prediction remains whatever negative happens on deaths and trends, they'll blame Biden, Pelosi and Schiff plus the usual suspects including Chhheye-na. And they will create many photo ops of triumph like WWII.

Trump and McConnell will seize the moment to further shift the wealth and deregulation to their friends. And spin it as for the American workers, especially 'the blacks." Trump now loves "the blacks" but wouldn't wanna marry one because they came from shithole countries near where Obama came from.

Whatever positives they can spin will be because of the Trump The Great. The greatest of all time. Millions of lives saved that would have been lost. All that winning!

I still wouldn't be totally surprised that Trump will step down (a great hero) before the convention rather than suffer a humiliating loss if it becomes obvious. Or his cardio health. I'm sure the sex addiction medicating his sick brain is always screaming for personal porn model action like the good old days. He is thinking of his loss of wet play** with young models when he tells us how much he sacrificed to be our President.
