I contend and there is growing evidence that the mortality of "the virus" is a WAG...

No. That's not how it works. There is no "growing evidence" that its not what it is.

Every "brand new" virus starts out as a WAG... but it takes very little time, only a couple of generations, before you can determine the features well enough to know the nature of the risks...

Seeing what happened in Wuhan... didn't leave much room for doubt ?

But, a lot of people chose to NOT SEE what was happening there ?

Once you do know what the potential of the virus is... you also know more or less, right away, what you need to do to counter it... That's not rocket science either.

Then, if you do what the virus requires... you can avoid its worst potential... as they mostly have in South Korea thus far. And if you don't do that, because you think its bullshit... then you kill 14% of your population because you're an idiot... as probably did happen in Wuhan...

But, if you succeed in doing what you need to do to make it less of a problem... it being less of problem in result... isn't a proof that it isn't a problem ?
