For now you can revert the Firefox url changes with less effort then modifying the CSS Go to about:config and set all of these to false browser.urlbar.update1 browser.urlbar.update1.view.stripHttps browser.urlbar.openViewOnFocus But apparently Firefox is going to remove those options rather then just having them enabled by default but disbleable if you want to do so. bugzilla.mozilla.org bugzilla.mozilla.org bugzilla.mozilla.org reddit.com
