Vaughn...You have to keep in mind that these brokerage firms crank out a helluva lot of comission dollars from underwriting these VSE/ASE listed companies...They crank out even more when they get to unload insider options, private placements and warrants...
In order to do so, the create a facade to the general public that they operate in their best interest...
It's a well known fact that these companies deal with a lot of insider's and the little guy's will flock to them with their money in the hopes of getting in on the next big one...
That's how they generate the big $$$...
They attract the insider's with their ability to raise capital from the multitudes of little guy's that have accounts with them... They then feed their investors with how great a company is...Make you think that your getting in on the inside track... They feed you with the right hand and in the meantime the left one is in "your" pocket taking your last nickle... At the same time they take the little guy's to the cleaners, 'cause they know that there is always a story of somebody hitting it big and the little guy will be back for more...(GREED FACTOR)...I for one of many am guilty of the greed factor. I have to admit that I'm a little more wiser ever since I got this computer but, I'm still a sucker like many others, for the hot tip...
Ever wonder why they pay these analysts the big bucks???... Boy when one of them is right on particular deal, the world will hear about it toot suite, and boy will they spend the bucks to make sure that everybody does... Anybody ask them how many they had that fell flat on their backs... More than likely the BS will flow out of their mouths faster than you can digest it...
I especially like the one's they taut when the stock is at a 52 week high and is going higher... In the meantime the insiders are unloading those options faster than you can write the cheque...
That's one of the beauty's of the net... We have a multitude of knowledgeable poster's that know people, who know people, who know of deals and previous reputations of people, that can analyse financials, drill results, watch trading patterns, help educate the uneducated and that can voice their opinions and objections.
I truly believe that we can get an edge on some of these shysters...
