Thanx-- here's another commentary on today's Vanc. Conf. activity:

Bob Bishop spoke and said that the Post was wrong... he said that he spoke with the reporter at length and that he quoted him selectively... ostensibly, he suggested, to provide the story with balance. He said that he is actually quite bullish on the BH play, but that -- like he said to the reporter -- the jury's still out on the quality of diamonds. He said the reason he hasn't written about it is that Fagan and JKaiser are doing a good job at it already. Then he went on to talk about WTC.

Incidentally, TYR was there, but their booth and presentation were really cheesy.
[as is their website, unfortunately!]

Ashton's booth was among the most well-attended, and they had technical people there that really loved their jobs, and the science involved. Whatever question I asked, they said something like, "Well, we don't know for sure. According to the South African model..." --They were explaining how this play doesn't jive with textbook models for diamond exploration. -I really envied their enthusiasm for their work... they were not out there pushing stock; they were like teachers trying to share their enthusiasm for the science.

Thanx again to the source for this report!
Much appreciated, I'm sure.
