There are secret societies wherein numerology is an important part of communications. Any young man who has ever been initiated into a fraternity should have discovered this.
This goes all the way back to the Illuminati, the Freemasons, the Knights Templar, and beyond. For example, there is an entire sect of Jewish Mysticism called Kabbalah that is based to some extent on numerology. It goes all the way to at least the 5th century, BCE. The singer, Madonna is said to be a follower of Kabbalah.
For fun, for example, just see how many stories use the number 33 (an important number in Freemasonry) in early versions of reports on supposedly tragic events. Mine explosions, natural events such as hurricanes and tornadoes, etc. It might surprise you. What it all means, I do not know and really do not care since I personally place no importance on numerology, but others do and this is likely why you see it. |
