There has been zippo in terms of research,,, and Pt might be exchangeable for Pd. but at what cost is not something that I put a lot of stock in for the small players that say they've found a replacement.

Also long term ramifications of that switch are not baked in.

My point is, as long as pain is manageable, demand steady, etc. see no reason why price should be brutally chopped, and or mined supply greatly favored over demand.
