Is it really necessary to enter into "Politics" on a thread which I would have thought should be devoted to the subject in hand .............. and then to refer to the "New York Times", does, IMO, only make it worse. If any MSM outlet is hell bent on "Putin-bashing" it's that "newspaper(?)". As a short aside with regard to the President of Russia, it may be of interest to know that AS SOON AS Vladimir Putin was made aware of a 'Coronavirus', THE VERY FIRST THING THAT HE DID WAS TO, IMMEDIATELY, CLOSE RUSSIA'S BORDERS, including the extensive one that Russia has with China. That could very well be why Russia's COVID-19 statistics are currently what they are compared with many other major countries ..... AND ....... What a "terrible guy" this Putin must be. Anyway, that's my "10 Cents Worth", take it as you wish ......
