Well, there is an element of truth in your post. No, I don't like deficits and don't like them when Trump runs them. I've complained about the Obama deficits for many years now. I suspect that when Trump's tenure is over, he will break all historical records, not just in the US, but in the world. So yes, I'll complain about that too. Truth is that the US is a lost cause. NO ONE believes in balanced budgets and stable currencies as a path to economic might and sustainability. This is why the US is in decline.
The thing is that when you say it, I know you are virtue signaling. You know why? You only don't like it because Trump is doing it. If you complained about Obama's deficits as much as Trump's then I'd be more willing to listen to your complaints. I have complained about all deficits, regardless of who does them. Therefore, I have more credibility than you, de fact. Also, I have literally been kicked off of conservative threads for not towing the GOP line. I've also been kicked off of liberal threads where I used to be well liked in the first few years of Obama, but later when I criticized his handling of the endless wars and his crappy economic policies, they kicked me out. So I have credibility, because I'm a centrist and do not tow the line for any part. You on the other hand are very biased in favor of liberals. In your mind, they can do no wrong. |
