It's late and as I stated a few posts back I didn't have any intentions of commenting on today's events til I got caught up, that is, until I read your post.
IMO what you're really describing is arrogance and despite it's eloquence, what your post proves to me is that arrogance, like any other human qualitiy, can be found anywhere.
Generalizations like yours are the foundation for other comments like; all blacks are lazy, all Jews are cheap, all Polish people are stupid, to which, thanks to you, we can now add that all doctors are arrogant.
Being long on this stock and posting your views instead of just lurking, isn't easy. Just look at how many have disappeared. More than once my posts have taken on a sharp edge because of the pressure I've felt here. However in all my recent memory I can't remember Jas EVER being anything but a gentleman. Dismissing his opinion based on your little anecdote, IMO ,is not only insulting, but may indicate that people with the middle initial "A" are in fact, small minded bigots.
