US has about 3X the number of ICU beds per 100K than Italy....that was BEFORE the outbreak...
But you said that NYC's ICU beds were always at capacity every flu season.

If Italy had such a chronic shortage of ICU beds, how come they weren't overwhelmed until now, especially with their elderly population?

Really, TWY, you need to keep a more consistent argument.
