That's all I needed to hear....I'm in tomorrow... I think cable companies are in for a very nasy surprise as they find that noone who actually uses the internet is interested in cable tv set-top boxes, but they are extremely interested in cable modems and a unified, cheaper bill, not to mention good service! I was kind of worried about cable companies teaming up with phone companies to lay fiber and duplicate RCN's approach, but they are all making massive investments in set-top boxes, and I doubt these debt-ridden dinosaurs can carry out two initiatives at once.
