She was rightly pointing out that COVID is not the first virus to leak out of China and that the US was listening, like all other countries, to the WHO, even as they were parroting the Chinese Communist Dictatorship saying there was no human to human transmission and that it was racist and xenophobic to shut down flights from China.
I didn't listen to the entire interview. Like Sharkie, I only got the snippet that is going viral all across social media.

Your explanation makes sense. Unfortunately, the point that Conway was making got lost thanks to her gaffe.
