Well, that is an interesting way of looking at it.
it's not my discovery. most people are looking at it that way... they call it "flattening the curve" to
help avoid over-stressing the healthcare resources all at once.
Look at how well South Korea kept their death rate down by aggressive testing, social distancing and providing necessary social systems. .
yes. i've been watching. i like to watch. <g> there's NEW news from south korea yesterday...
and we don't really know the full extent or validity of their earlier testing and reporting of cases/deaths.

Raising Questions About Immunity

this is a NEW paradigm we're living in NOW - the information age. we've never been able to follow
the data from a pandemic this closely and this early before. it may not help us through the covid-19
but maybe it will help us deal with the NEXT pandemic when it arrives. i think we're looking for ways
to reach herd-immunity as quickly as possible with the fewest amount of lives and time/money lost?

i think you and i and the other sioux nation braves are all on the same page/wavelength on this, no?

in the past, we've relied on "nature" to provide herd-immunity until we develop a vaccine. it may be
no different this time but maybe we'll find cures more quickly in the information age. time will tell.
i'll continue to watch... AND i'll be sure to take the lens covers off my binoculars.
