ssl.wt [.to] - the only tradeable Sandstorm warrants i know are these, strike is usd4.00 [sand.nyse], expiry is 03nov20 ... same day as US presidencial election -g- ... sand closed today at usd6.66, double grinnie -gg- ... makes intrinsic value of wt usd2.66 x 1.41 = cad3.75, so at just above cad4.00 they are trading at around cad.30-.50 time premium most days ... october sand/ssl calls have been trading very much the same, wider spreads and less liquid though, with higher commission
This has been my core company for going on three years now, since it tanked when they took over Mariana ... in sheltered accounts i've held it in ssl.wt form mostly, for much of that time, because they give more upside bang for the buck ... more downside bang too, but i'm ninety per cent sure that this is a major upswing year ... that said, by november i will have converted all wts value into common shares, started several months ago actually ... most recent trades have been buys though - been trading bits of them back and forth since they came out, got it wrong a lot, spent long periods underwater, but net-net overall they've been great, and i think they'll see glorious new highs before expiry
We share a lot of picks, LC ... also share a tendency to buy somewhat early, in a lot of cases, then have to wait it out ... but it works |
