Value analysis revisited and Valueline 10 week subscription is a must?

Beginners must pay $55 to get the Valueline 10 week subscription to get themselves familiar with charts and value analysis. More important is the many stocks that Valueline covers. This gives a birds' eye view of the Wall street market and available investment direction. Does Valueline guarentee success in stock investing? No.

However, the overall knowledge and as a library reference of stock info at finger tips is important. Almost as important as downloading a free technical analysis software to learn all the terminology of technical analysis. Will technical analysis guarentee your success in investing? No.

The part of investing that is most important is understanding the trading mechanism, and the role of market makers. We have done some of the fundamentals of the role of market makers on this thread. Analysis of the stock has to include the prediction of market makers' action, "pull back or nice move". It is predictable, because market makers are human beings with a habit. Any habit is a signature of some sort. If there are 46 market makers on one stock, whose signature can you read? Read short interest and you can predict pull back. Read limit sell orders of large volume being transacted, you will find a market maker accumulated and will immediately distribute. That results in a nice move. Both pull back and nice move will last a few days, until short interest or inventory is depleted. Then the cycle repeats itself.
