I think you missed the point. If a large portion of the population already has the virus and showed no symptoms or mild symptoms, then there is nothing that can be done to stop the spread, nor should we, because the virus is not as deadly as we thought it was. I've told you before that we should not have shut this economy down, but now that the evidence is mounting that the shutdown was a mistake, we need to learn from that and re-open quickly and DON'T shut it down again. Flattening the curve could very well have done nothing. If the vast majority of people experience no symptoms, then flattening the curve was a waste of time. We should note that all the surge facilities that have been built so far have remained unused. We've all assumed (myself included) that flattening the curve is logical and necessary, but was it? Virus spreads follow bell curve like model over time. The data shows that 77 days gets any country through the full curve with little variation due to lock downs or not. That's what the Israeli mathematicians proved. So lockdowns were probably not necessary. Taiwan and Sweden are proving there is another way.

What we should have focused our time and effort on and still should is the following:
* MASKS, masks, and more masks...these have been proven effective, contrary to the completely incompetent WHO's recommendation that masks are unnecessary for the gen pop
* PPE for our health care workers
* infection tests and antibody tests - we need enough to test everyone in the US, full stop. Everyone who wants a test should get a test, gratis
* lastly, federal funds to rebuild and fund our stockpiles, hospitals, CDC, vaccines, and therapeutics

What we should NOT do ever again:
* lock down the population and destroy our economy

We are not a Communist country. We should stop acting like one.
