A few stocks to look at, and Microsoft's split

MSFT is splitting Feb 20 - if one is looking to acquire this, do so about a week or so ahead of the split date. MSFT historically drops in price about 5-8 days ahead of its split, and then rockets up afterwords, levels and corrects, and then starts up again. I had the hardest time convincing a guy at work that it was better to buy 50 shares of MSFT now than 100 after the split...I don't follow MSFT, but if someone does TA on it, post its rate of change around then for the thread please.

Others worth considering due to some forward looking strength are:

PTUS 20.375
DDIM 15.25
LUV 27.5
ELNK 28.375

The last one, Earthlink corrected down from 36 due selling becauset the anaylsts were moving it from an accumulate to hold (basically they said to buy up until it was 37 - so when it hit that, they changed their rating to hold - the stocks didn't do anything - and folks say the change and sold). Should be good to at least 34 in the short term.
