Bingo! It's already happened here. How else to explain the massive resurgence of Socialism and Communism and the blaming Capitalism for everything and calling it evil, even as the more we lurch leftwards in our politics and managing of the economy, the more downhill everything spirals. That's why I often believe it is already too late for this country. The Boomers started this mess and they taught their Millenial children to believe in Socialism and Communism. Gen X is too small to make a difference in turning the tide. So all future generations are screwed. Gen X will be the last generation to enjoy the fruits of the way this country used to be. The karma in all of this is that the Millennials will get exactly what they want and when they have it, they will ask, "what have we done to ourselves?" But by then, it will be too late.
