Also, as a fellow Jew, I think Passover's story of escape from slavery and oppression has meaning for all people and all time. I'm sensitive to states that harbored slaveholders and humans-as-property until the FEDERAL US army shut it down with a huge amount of patriot's blood and sacrifice.

Actually, the southern racial and antisemitic injustices continued. While I tolerated such symbols in the days of Lynyrd Skynyrd and the catchy Sweet Home Alabama - the more I learned the truth, I now feel that confederate flags and the overgeneralized term "states rights" are both symbols of brutal killing for injustice and racial privilege in the Civil War and beyond. Often spinning the "bible" and Jesus for justification.

As far as not supporting Biden, the GOP thanks you. Listen to Bernie Sanders who is now supporting JB, not Rush Limbaugh. Thank you for being civil.
