Hi Laurens! Here is what I found at Kostech site regarding their involvement with companies:

"We do not receive any compensation from the companies we review to our paid subscribers. Our revenues come from subscriber revenues and our own investing. After companies are reviewed and are sent a copy of the Research Bulletin they often ask for permission to republish it on wire services and other media. The smaller companies we locate (1 in 10) often do not have high visibility or a prominent Investor relations firm informing Wall Street or the general public of their situation.

At that time, we make available to them the option to further distribute the bulletin to our free subscriber base followed by the wire services. Because the free subscriber base generates no revenues, we work to secure an option contract with the company that is above the current market price and will provide revenue for us at a later date only if the company performs as we anticipate. This puts our interests in line with the shareholders of the company and gives us an active long term interest in the company as any shareholder should have. In addition, some companies retain us for the purpose of continually updating our free subscribers on company developments."
