blankmind I agree with you Re short squeeze. However as a previous poster stated, I think we should look at a short squeeze as a bonus rather than a fundamental investment tool.More like frosting on the cake. I want to see what the AD campaign will do this weekend. If the recent NBC snafu is any indication, just a " few " interested investors drove this thing up 30%. Let us see what a coordinated AD campaign will do.Only 4 days left. I think it is reasonable to expect this stock to be in the low 20s, 21? gg, at least equal to the S&P PE, based on '98 EPS of $1, by? First call?. Of course we all know here that that is a ridiculously low No. I am looking at Investors Bus Daily right now and they have eps of 2.04 so they must know something we don't < GG >. $2.04 represents a 100% growth over 97; ie growth rate is 100% ( which I disagree with , I think it's too low, gg, bot that is another issue ). So, in anyway , at an Invest Bus Daily Grwth rate of 100%,ie PE 100 with an eps of 2.04, the stock should be worth $204 in 1998. OK, so lets take away 80% of that value because it is clearly tainted by Tunica's irrational exuberance gg and so I come up with $40 as a reasonable target price for 98. That in essence is a ~125%return on your current investment at 14.5 and likelky to put you in the 0.02% pantheon of money managers who can achieve this increase gg. And all this ... without a short squeeze. If you add in a short squeeze then it's a different ball game completely!
All this in my opinion only. Actual results may be significantly lower, GGG, or as our worthy ancestors used to say, " Caveat emptor" buyer be ware, gg.
