Mindmeld, here's an example of the left using "science" as a bludgeoning tool.

Not the article per se, but the fact that some of my liberal friends are posting this in response to the anti-lockdown protests:

Kentucky sees highest spike in coronavirus cases after lockdown protests

Kentucky experienced its highest single-day spike in coronavirus cases after protests broke out in the state to lift lockdowns, according to reports.

Gov. Andy Beshear announced there were 273 new cases Sunday, bringing the total to 2,960, news station WCPO reported.

*******

Really? That's a "spike"? 273 new cases in a state that has just 2,960 cases?

In terms of number of cases per capita, Kentucky is in the lower half of all the states in the union. I'm sure the protests didn't cause that "spike," nor is that "spike" going to seriously overwhelm the health care facilities in the state.

I know I'm one of the biggest advocates for lockdowns and "flattening the curve," but never did I say that such a lockdown should have occurred at the national level. It really ought to be up to each state to decide, unlike what the central planners like Wharfie and RDK want.

Because centralized control is a recipe for disaster. Local control makes more sense.
