NZ Refining is up 50% from the recent low. But around the world the rebound in markets looks much more like a dead cat bounce than a sensible response to currency dilution or expectation of return to profits.

Free oil is a LOT of fun.

I should buy a dozen A380s for say $3.14 each, agree to take delivery of JetA1 for 5 years for 1c per litre, hire a quorum of pilots and sell tickets at auction.

Looks like a great opportunity.

They would fly.
Auckland Los Angeles London Dubai Hong Kong San Francisco Berlin Tokyo New York Paris Shanghai Sydney Hawaii London Singapore Auckland Los Angeles etc....in a continuous stream of high volume low cost comfortable bunks stacked 3 or 4 high with 950 passengers moreor less.

Tickets would be about $100 I guess to fill them up.
