have been in Cape Town South Africa since 1st March

riots-looting-cape-town-coronavirus

the action is about 40 minutes away by highway, across a very big mountain, but is in Cape Town

I am not scaring anyone, not successfully, as my brand of scare is too esoteric for neighbours concerned about other scares

one neat thing, we the neighbours here on 'our' side are dialoguing across distances of 30+feet

yesterday whilst on the balcony I got accosted by neighbour down below the platform of our house, "I see you are still here. How are you doing?"

Nice neighbourhood.

When folks greet each other, the very first happening is generally a meeting of the eyes followed by "I do not believe we are in this situation" laughter.

so, yes, expect martial law soon, unless lockdown safely ends. And if end turns out to be not-safe, all hell would break loose. A guess.
