Fox and Trump lied about the virus for months. The idiots still support him. But, there's nothing different in all this. They voted for Bush after he lied about WMDs, and for Reagan after he lied about balancing the budget. It's obvious to anyone looking at that party from the outside that intellectual consistency is always ignored. Look at name-calling here on SI. Republicans do it all the time. I can cite numerous examples. How many republicans get booted? None. Their minds are incapable of being intellectually consistent. The party that voted for massive debt under Reagan, Bush, and Trump said we needed balanced budgets and spending cuts under Clinton and Obama. Are they uninformed, ignorant, hypocrites, liars? Of course, they are all these things and I think they know it. They don't care that they're bad people. It's who they were raised to be.
