TopCat,
I can’t open the article
I was afraid of that.

In a nutshell, the county's death data for the month of March shows a significant increase vs. a year ago. That increase is larger than the reported number of deaths due to the coronavirus. This raises the possibility that people are catching the coronavirus and dying in their homes without anyone knowing it was indeed due to the coronavirus.

There's also an investigation into whether people died from the coronavirus before the first reported death in the nation, which was February 27.

In any case, the sword cuts both ways. You and TWY can cast doubts and claim that the death toll is too high. Meanwhile there are people who are trying to figure out whether the death toll is too low.

More data is better than less.
