Taxi,
As long as it is putting $$ in your pocket, there are no stupid plays. The most important lesson - never be afraid to take money off the table and run off howling like a banshee. I, too, am more comfortable with several small positions rather than going for the home run. I have had enough home runs turn into pop-flies that can do serious damage to a portfolio. I try not to get in that position. A lot of little bites can add up to a serious meal.
