Miraje, A lot of them probably hope he'll kick the bucket, after his latest movie exposed a whole lotta greenie bullshit. I'm glad you brought that up, because it exposes what the endgame is for environMENTALists.
They look upon the current lockdown and see the ideal solution for the planet.
They now see the economy as it was as the biggest killer of the planet, and they will do whatever it takes to keep that economy dead dead dead.
They are hoping to use this crisis as an opportunity to push forth their green utopia. Everyone will be working from home. Those who can't, well, they can just "learn to code."
Traveling for pleasure will be a thing of the past. Business conferences, concerts, sporting events, etc. will be a thing of the past. Even food delivery will be a thing of the past as we all relearn how to grow our own food.
Solar panels, windmills, electric cars, recycling, bans on plastic straws, etc., will be useless because they're all meant to try and maintain a lifestyle while pretending to be "green." Michael Moore said it himself. We have to go further. Much further. Like a lockdown for the planet. I kid you not.
I think this will be the beginning of the end for the environmentalist movement.
