My position is that the US needs to completely transition off of fossil fuels by 2050.
That's never going to happen without a technological breakthrough. Solar and wind aren't going to cut it. Even Michael Moore no longer advocates them.

That's just electricity. They still need fossil fuels to power their cars, trucks, planes, and construction vehicles.

By the way, I hear there's a wonderful source of energy that is more potent than anything else out there. It's carbon-free, too. Wanna know what it is, or are you just going to keep your head in the sand?
