it is a snarky comment when you do it and it serves no purpose.
well... that's one way of looking at it. but it's not intended to be snarky.
i see it more as big brotherly advice like saying, "hey that's the ladies room
koan... the men's room is around the corner."

as to the top 20 posters, i don't even know who that is but there are
never more than about 20 people who post here on any kind of regular basis...
and it's probably closer to 10 than 20. about half of them, i have met in person
and the other half, i could certainly tell you whether they know what you were
sharing in your post. these are all friends of mine to one degree or another,
including you. and i read ALL of their posts here and some of their posts
elsewhere.

same goes for all of them. they ALL know you better than you know them. you
really ARE unusual in your ignorance of knowing anything about what they know.
you don't seem to pay attention to their posts. even if you're just using sioux nation
as a soap box, it pays to know your audience before opening your mouth and
underestimating their intelligence. let's not fight about it, eh?

the gist of my post was that what you posted was CORRECT and your idea of
working together was a good one - even if it DID show a little bit of ignorance of
the knowledge and education level of your audience. i even shared an example
of a site on the internet that could be suitable for doing just what you suggested.
you didn't have a single comment about wiki governance. why not?
there ARE threads on SI populated by people who might not know or understand
what you were talking about in your post - but sioux nation is NOT one of them.
it pays to listen. i like to watch. that includes listening.

cut the crap and stop acting like i'm just an asshole who's trolling you for my own sense
of revenge or my sadistic nature. i'm just trying to coax you into participating with us on
a peer level instead of treating us like we're 3rd graders while you're the expert teacher.
it's not working out well for you... or us. if i didn't care about you, i'd never post to you.

i'll give you the last word in this exchange which was never intended to be a debate
about my character or yours... but if it doesn't say anything intelligent about wiki-governance,
i'll probably give up trying to help you understand me or others here on sioux nation.
that's all i was doing. sorry if you felt insulted - but that's your OWN projection - not MY
reason for replying to your post. i'm being totally sincere and kind-hearted. i don't know
how to be any more open and honest with you than that.
