Is anyone aware of whether Global will finally put their financials up in public view?? As I understand it - all BB stocks will be reduced to pink sheet issues in April '98, if they haven't turned over all the details to Nasdaq. That's a serious blow to the co., funds seldom invest in pink sheet stocks. Has the company released any of the details about the large block of GPGI stock that was stolen and subsequently sold out into the market place?? A securities attorney tells me that leaves some some really tacky legal issues out in the open. Most people don't realize it but the transfer agents keep strict record of all transactions. They can easiy trace the movement of that stolen stock thru years of transactions. Who really owns that stolen stock ?? Tacky. As I understand it - the perps are friends of J E Currie. Does anyone know if he's been cleared of any complicity in the theft ?? I hope for the honest GPGI shareholders that the company is able to settle the legal issues.
