Just crusin'! Out of curiosity, which NT version are you using? Yes W95 is DEFINATELY not as stable as it shoud be, but it is BETTER than W3.0! My NT Server has pretty gracefully handled app crashes, so far, but I don't think that I have really tried to stress the complex! When I left GTE in 1993, we were using an SCO UNIX load on HP Vectra 486 (state of art at time) platforms, running 40M ram and 2-200M disks linked by a couple of IBM (I think) servers, and while they ran pretty well (we were up 24x7), when it 'belched' there was plenty to go around, if you catch my drift! The administrator had to tighten up the controls pretty tight to 'stabilize' the system, and nobody at work was really trying to 'hack' the system. Had 'evil' intent been there, it would have been interesting to see how that system could have been protected! ( Under heavy load, the network could 'destabilize' at the 'speed of light'!) Ken
