(continued bla bla from last post on film/TV production)

here's something else i found to be true over 20 plus years of
televising local government at work...

it's like the quantum theory postulate that mere "observation"
affects the outcome of any experiment...

just the fact that they knew they were being closely observed,
changed the behavior of the elected officials we televised... for
the better! over the last 25 years i've seen a great improvement
in the character and actions of our local representatives. the
crooks were not re-elected and the ones who could have been
bought were less likely to cross that line. it leads me to believe
that total transparency might be a good approach to improving
"socially acceptable" behavior.

trump's use of the media is a whole other story. in a way, it's good
for us to see inside his head... but HE is the producer/director/star
of his "fake reality show" so his being "observed" is not something
that is going to change his behavior very much... he just switches
the POV to camera two and changes the subject to story number
three. he's a pretty good producer/director... and with his lack of a
conscience and his "out of touch" awareness level he can take his
preposterous stories where no normal human would dare go and
leave everyone scratching their heads. we need to get him out of office...

and THIS was the other way the transparency of government access
TV had great value. enough citizens/voters watched the politicians-at-
work to see when one of them needed to go bye-bye and they would
vote for a better replacement at election time. (but i still think the
"observation" factor had more effect on changing behavior in the
seated politicians than the "educated populace" factor had in replacing
the politician altogether - what i'm trying to say is "changing the politician's
behavior was more effective for improvement than changing one
politician for another one." of course, this does not work with narcissists,
so that's where the "educated populace" factor helps guide the voters.

</end of media/propaganda/total-transparency bla bla>

(didja notice i managed to stay in duality realm for the entire rant? i editied
out the entire paragraph about seeking ONENESS in the NOW. <ggg>)
