<..Also rumor of H&Q downgrade...> On morning call this AM, H&Q downgraded PAIR from strong buy to buy. Reason is concern about making their quarter due to 2 reasons - PG Flex ramping slower than expected. Noel suggested it may not kick in until March or June. Second, PAIR's losing part of USW to Paradyne. I expect the telco dragging will continue to affect most telecoms until the unbundle/rebundle issues are resolved next year. RE: BEL's request, since internet traffic is getting close to tantamount to LD (as per LU's announcement yesterday), I suspect the FCC will maintain their hard nosed (and IMO appropriate) stance.
