Not in the immediate future as far as I know. In my group, we just took delivery of thirteen Sparc5's, which we ordered before the Darwins were announced. I'm sure that we will consider Darwins in the future as a possible desktop or even to act as DNS or NIS servers.
BTW, we are probably getting an E10000 this year which will send $3 million in Sun's direction. That would be equivalent to a lot of Darwins.
