Jason, I'm not sure what your waiting for to feel good about Naxos. Impatient, yes but to be down with all that they have accomplished?
Naxos has been as forthcoming as they can with cold hard facts, but not with every nuanse, every shade of grey which comes out of the discovery phase of any business venture.
And the facts we all know are extremely promising and seem in my mind to give a peek into just how big the deposit may be. With a U.S. average of .2 to .3 opt and certified numbers at 1.7 and going up from there, we have quite a story.
But to your point regarding being proactive, I am not sure what you mean. If you refer to being a better "promoter" of the story, Naxos needs to have a little more story to tell to offset all the ASE baggage. In many cases, properties have hundreds and even thousands of holes drilled and tested before real value is assesed. We are a bit short of that so if you wanted to promote the stock, how much hard data would you have to "sell" your story? Not much yet, and in that situation more of the "story" becomes the past activities which would lead to what the ASE problems were all about (which it is now clear were nothing at all) but with multiple labs coming on stream, 5 BD holes prepared and to be fully tested, a drill program permit in the works and good solid assay numbers to justify moving forward, there is plenty of reason to think that there will be a GREAT story to tell soon.
Naxos can hardly tell shareholders about every single test, certified or not, experimental or standard, and get anything done without holding daily press conferences to explain every action. Because in the nature of experimentation and exploration Naxos will try things that will NOT work and NOT produce good numbers to be sure they have eliminated all the wrong paths for discovery. As it stands now, it seems that Naxos is in the fine tuning stage of the assay and recovery method of choice.
I will agree that some releases could be worded better and be more complete in explaining what was said. For example, it would have been helpful in the last release to explain WHY there was no platinum detected and why it was not tested for in the first place. There is always room for improvement in the area of communications. Writing anything so that anyone understands it, no matter what their proficiency in the subject, is an aquired skill but unfortunately it goes by the wayside when legalease is the priority of the day.
All of these things will continue to improve. I have great confidence when there is enough info to "promote" with, there are some very anxious, very capable people on the Naxos side who are chomping at the bit to get out there and sell Naxos like never before.
Regards,
