Assuming no earthshaking news, if the weakness continues heading into earnings, it might just sell off before earnings, instead of the usual attempt to go up. The world is becoming wiser to the ways of Novell. I doubt the quarter will be a disaster, in that they have the option of stuffing the channel as a buffer on the thought that everything will be OK next quarter. Potentially stupid move, yet they would probably see it as better than telling the truth in that this is a key quarter. This is how Novell fooled us for a long time. As of yet, I have no reason to believe the BOD would do anything but try and deceive us if the story is as bad as I think it is. Q1 is one of their favorite quarters to stuff if I remember correctly. I can almost hear JY...do it...don't ask questions...just do it! sf
