The option trades reported yesterday were in advance of the latest earnings report, issued today. The earnings were well above analyst expectations, and the guidance for the coming quarter was also strong. The company appears to be supplying controllers or related devices to the rapidly expanding cloud storage business. Normally the kind of huge options volume you reported, coming just BEFORE the earnings release, would trigger an SEC investigation of insider trading. The SEC, however, has been less active in its enforcement activities lately. Art
