This morning, the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis reported first quarter GDP fell 4.8% — the worst contraction since the Great Recession. The unemployment rate is now 20.6% — the highest level since 1934. There are over one million reported coronavirus cases — the most reported cases in the world. Yet Trump acts as if the battle is almost over. He’s dead wrong. It’s time he takes this pandemic seriously. Three months in -- after a million infections, nearly 60,000 US deaths and a potential economic depression -- it's still unclear whether President Donald Trump grasps the gravity of the coronavirus crisis.
