What they said is still true and a mask gives a person a false sense of security and they forget to do the things they are supposed to be doing (cleaning many times their hands, not touching their face, etc..). The difference is now, WITHOUT a lockdown, and many more people around and in stores, the mask becomes a requirement even though the issues with efficacy still exist.
