I have had a keen interest in UVC as a disinfectant for many years, since childhood actually. This was the first study I've seen that actually took the light INSIDE the body. With the advent of the diverse array of UV LEDs, of essentially any wavelength you want to buy, the opportunities are particularly attractive. It is a vastly under-utilized technology, even though it is heavily used in some areas.

While Youtube has idiotically censored the actual video, you can get the idea from the following screenshot someone had the gumption to make:

It is unfortunate Youtube has seen fit to start blocking videos related to the ideas they don't really care for. But the point is that it is quite like "injected" UV light into the bronchial tube and I suppose the lung, with the idea being to reduce the viral load I suppose.

One can see how someone could envision this as injecting light to disinfect.

The basic problem here is that half the people in the country -- including 100% of news media -- are trying to find some basic for complaining about the president. Just like with Obama, except the media wasn't involved in that. When the president is a Republican, you're going to get this kind of faux ridicule. It is part of it, but what is new is that the media's role is far greater than it has ever been in the past. Instead of reporting, our media is now manipulating.
