RJK are idiots if they don't disclose the 273 kg sample was drilled with the exact same rig/drill core/drill casing as the 22 kg sample on the other anomaly.

It is better to educate the audience that you might get similar synthetic/natural diamonds in the upcoming diamond...then....
1 -- Pretend you are shocked that this could happen again.
or
2 -- Pretend that this is actually normal. Most diamond exploration results need this sorting afterwards.

You can be incompetent at the drill site, learn from your mistakes and become competent.
Or you can be incompetent about your incompetence and try to just make it go away as time passes.
