According to you, then, Jane Fonda is a patriot....but not of America-must be some other movement or government she is a patriot of since the patriots you allude to were/are fighting against their present governments meaning to overthrow them. So Jane Fonda may be a patriot to some other cause trying to overthrow the present form of government but she's a traitor to those that support that government-even of the government has policies they disagree with. Yeah, that's it, if I disagreed with America's fighting Iraq because it's over some capitalistic commodity like oil then I could go sit on one of their anti-aircraft guns and pose for pictures and go to their prisons with cameras rolling where they are torturing American pilots and be considered a patriot! Oh boy! Now I'm a patriot! They're going to throw parades for me back home. I can't wait to get back! Yeah, sure. The only place I would be considered a patriot would be Iraq. Yes, people were already being killed in Viet Nam. She was partially responsible in lengthening the process of ending the war and has to take some of the responsibility for the increased number of deaths due to the renewed fervor with which the Viet Cong fought. This has been chronicled in the previously mentioned PBS series on the Viet Nam war. She directly aided the enemy that was killing our men and women. She could have stayed here and registered her protests but instead went over there amongst the enemy and was used by their propaganda machine. Ask Senator McCain what he thinks of her posturing in the prison camps while he was there. We will obviously never agree. I think she's an elitist; as is her husband; a traitor, and; as Thomas Sowell details in his book The Vision of The Anointed; one of the anointed. halfscot
