Local elections are very different than a presidential election for a number of reasons...

First of all, every elected president since George Washington, and including George Washington, has been an outsider, Washington was the ultimate outsider...

People elect an outsider to change things in Washington, people know the insider would never change things... if both are insiders, then the one perceived as less inside is elected...

Second of all, an incumbent, no matter how bad he is using blowbama as the best example, has a 3X better chance of winning re-election than the challenger...

These are only two very strong reasons, there are many...

biden is the classic more than 40 year swamp insider, he hasn't got a snowball's chance in hell of getting anywhere near the White House...
