I live streamed the entire shareholder meeting. He said to never bet against America as long as you have a twenty year time horizon. He also spent considerable time discussing the crash of 1929 and the subsequent countertrend rally. In 1930 no one seriously believed they were going into a depression, they incorrectly assumed it was just a recession. I doubt he chose that particular topic just to fill up air time....
