Yes, it makes sense from "the oracle's" perspective. With the uncertainty facing the travel industry, it's better to be safe than sorry. Their financial statements are bloody awful and, as a group, they've been mismanaged. Even with "a swift" rebound from CV-19, a few of the companies may not survive (at least the current shareholders may not...). UAL and DAL only started in 2006 and AAL in 2013 - under their current corporate structure. ALK and LUV go back to the mid 80s, fwiw.
