My comments on some of the recent messages.
First of all, Sturgeon Lake, as much as it was a disappointment to the Company to release the rig back to Neighbors Drilling -- we were under Contract with Neighbors to release the rig by Dec 27/97. Due to delays in drilling through the Fernie shales and trying to set casting in the Fernie, we were backed up against this deadline. Range believe's the area is very prolific and we expect success in 98, as does our joint-venture partner on the project Suncor Energy.
Second, Management and insiders are not selling shares, on the contrary, they are buying shares, due to the potential the Company has in front of itself.
Third, Range is in the middle of negotiations on a very significant joint-venture with a major oil and gas company, we believe it will be finalized over the next month.
Fourth, Range expects to have 2 drill programs underway in the next 4-6weeks on the Progess project and the joint-venture project with Amoco called Bigoray.
Finally, combine the expertise of Range's technical team -- in my opinion one of the strongest teams for junior oil and gas company assembled -- holding of aprox. $7.5 million in the bank and some significant projects, I expect success in 1998.
